The Amazfit Bip Max features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display protected by tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. The large display should ensure a comfortable interaction with the device and a relatively easy typing experience. The smartwatch also includes an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness, up to 3,000 nits, based on surrounding conditions.
For health and fitness tracking, the wearable is equipped with Amazfit’s BioTracker 6.0 sensor that enables heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), and stress monitoring. Users also get support for more than 150 sports modes, including strength training, yoga, Pilates, and HYROX workouts.

The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling through an integrated speaker and microphone for a hands-free experience. The wearable also packs built-in GPS with support for multiple satellite positioning systems for more accurate outdoor activity tracking. On the software front, the Bip Max runs Zepp OS and includes Zepp Coach, which offers AI-powered workout guidance, personalised training plans, and race predictions. The wearable also comes with 4GB onboard storage for music and maps.
Amazfit claims the Bip Max’s 550mAh battery can deliver up to 20 days of usage on a single charge, up to 10 days under heavy usage, and as much as 40 hours with continuous GPS tracking. This could give it a notable advantage over many Wear OS-based smartwatches in a similar price bracket, which typically offer richer app ecosystems and features such as ECG tracking but often require charging every one to two days.
While it may not be an affordable offering from the brand, the Amazfit Bip Max remains one of the most feature-packed smartwatches in the segment. Based on its feature set and price, the Bip Max appears to be a strong contender for users upgrading from basic fitness trackers or older smartwatches who prioritise a large, bright display, comprehensive fitness tracking, and long battery life.
However, we’ll reserve our final verdict until we’ve had the chance to test the Amazfit Bip Max ourselves.
