AMD has unveiled the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series of processors for High-End Desktop computers (HEDT) and workstations. The latter gets the Threadripper Pro chips while desktop models get regular Threadripper CPUs. But even these aren't regular by no means. They boast up to 64 cores and the Pro variants take that to an astonishing 96-core count. The top-end Threadripper Pro 7995WX model also boasts up to 128 PCIe 5 lanes, and 8-channel memory.

AMD Threadripper 7000 series price and availability

They will initially go on sale through DIY retailers from November 21st, 2023. Then, by the end of 2023, Threadripper 7000 chips from OEMs like Dell, HP, and Lenovo should be available in the market. The following are the prices:

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7980X at $4,999 (roughly around Rs 4,15,891.80)
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7970X at $2,499 (roughly around Rs 2,07,904.30)
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X at $1,499 (roughly around Rs 1,24,709.30)
Threadripper Pro variant prices are yet to be revealed.
