AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 CPUs announced for high-end desktop computers and workstations

Threadripper 7000 is meant for high end desktops and Threadripper Pro 7000 is for workstations.

Highlights

AMD has unveiled the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series of processors for High-End Desktop computers (HEDT) and workstations. The latter gets the Threadripper Pro chips while desktop models get regular Threadripper CPUs. But even these aren't regular by no means. They boast up to 64 cores and the Pro variants take that to an astonishing 96-core count. The top-end Threadripper Pro 7995WX model also boasts up to 128 PCIe 5 lanes, and 8-channel memory.
