The Realme GT 6 series was officially teased to launch in India to mark the brand’s 6-year anniversary. The lineup is making a comeback in the country after the Realme GT 2 series from 2022. Now, the company has confirmed the Realme GT 6T will be launching in the country, though no date has been revealed yet. Realme has also revealed the chipset that will be powering the phone.
Realme GT 6T is confirmed to launch in India
- Realme GT 6T will be India’s first phone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.
- The brand claims the Realme GT 6T can score over 1.5 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark platform.
- The chipset is built on an advanced 4nm TSMC processor and is said to redefine the user experience by offering “superior performance, faster speed, and better power efficiency.”
- Realme says when compared to Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the SD 7+ Gen 3 on the Realme GT 6T delivers a 15 percent increase in CPU performance and a 45 percent boost in GPU power.
The Realme GT phones are aimed at the mid-premium segment and are claimed to “deliver flagship-level performance”. Besides the Realme GT 6T, there could be a Realme GT 6 model as well. Meanwhile, the Realme GT Neo 6 launches in China today.
