Ampere Zeal EX price in India

The new Ampere Zeal EX is a beast when it comes to long rides, as it offers a 120km range on a single charge! And, that range comes at a superbly competitive price of Rs 69,900 (ex-showroom) in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand and Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom) for the rest of India. Adding to that, parent company Greaves Mobility has also announced additional benefits worth Rs 6,000 when purchasing the Zeal EX before March 31, 2023.

Starting with the performance, the Ampere Zeal EX sports a motor with 1.8kW peak power, which offers you top speeds of up to 50-55kmph. These are relatively decent for city commutes. Then, you get a 60V, 2.3 KWh Advanced Lithium Battery for that claimed ARAI range of 120kmph (under standard driving conditions).

Furthermore, the Ampere Zeal EX comes with drum brakes, front (telescopic) and rear (twin tube) suspension, and offers a maximum loading capacity of 150 kg. As for the charger, Ampere is bundling a 60V, 7.5A Li one that claims to charge the e-scooter fully in 5 hours.

Ampere Vehicles, owned by Greaves Electric Mobility, is offering a lucrative 3 years warranty on the battery, charger, motor, controller, and converter of the electric scooter. And, there are several financing options as well with interest rates starting at just 8.99%.

To recall, just last week, Ampere unveiled its Primus electric scooter in the Indian market. That scooter boasts of 107km range, a top speed of 77kmph, and several two-tone colour options. However, that scooter is priced in the premium EV segment, priced at Rs 1.10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
