Apple AirPods Pro 2nd generation design
The renders shared by 52Audio reveal the design of the Apple AirPod Pro 2nd generation, which is akin to the last-gen Apple AirPod Pro. We can see the same stem design earbuds that were rumoured to be steamless. However, the main design changes are seen on the charging case with a USB Type-C port for charging and a speaker grille at the bottom, which can play music and works with the Find My app.
Apple AirPods Pro 2nd generation features
Moving to the features, the upcoming AirPods Pro will feature an H1 SoC with support for self-adaptive active noise cancellation. The AirPods Pro 2nd generation is said to come with heart rate detection, and it will collect and analyse users’ inner-ear data to track body temperature and heart rate. It will also come with an improved Find My functionality.
Much like the AirPods 3rd generation, the AirPods Pro 2nd generation could have similar acoustic properties that offer self-adaptive equalisation, spatial audio for dynamic head tracking, and audio sharing. Word is on the street that Apple will ditch two optical detect sensors on the AirPods Pro 2nd generation.
