ASUS refreshed its ExpertBook lineup with 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake processors. The ASUS ExpertBook B9 is Intel Evo certified, meaning that it is a  thin and light laptop that offers a healthy mix of portability and performance. The ASUS ExpertBook B9 is also MIL-STD 810H certified, meaning that it remains operational even under challenging working conditions. Furthermore, its trackpad doubles up as a Numpad too, addressing the pet peeve many have with notebook keyboards. The ASUS ExpertBook B9 also offers Windows Hello functionality via the included IR camera, making it far easier for one to unlock their devices. ASUS has thrown in a fingerprint sensor, too.

Given the laundry list of features that the ASUS ExpertBook offers, it comes as no surprise that it is on the expensive side of the spectrum The base ASUS ExpertBook B9 price in India starts at Rs 1,15,489, presumably for the i5 flavour. The notebook will be available for purchase across all online and offline channels soon. 

ASUS ExpertBook B9 specifications

As mentioned earlier, the ASUS ExpertBook B9 comes with 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake processors. One can pick between the Core i5-1135G7 or a Core i7-1165G7, both of which are paired with Intel Xe GPUs. There is no option to add a dedicated GPU, unfortunately. One can add up to 16GB of LPRDDR4 4,266MHz RAM along with an NVMe SSD. Users can get even more performance out of the ASUS ExpertBook B9 by setting the SSDs in RAID 0 and RAID 1. Only a few SKUs support RAID 0, though. 

Moving on, the ASUS ExpertBook B9 gets a 14-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a peak brightness of 400 nits, thin bezels, 94% screen-t-body ratio, and 100 percent of the sRGB Gamut coverage. Input options include two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one regular USB Type-A Gen 3.2 port, an RJ-45 LAN port, and a mini HDMI port. Video calls are handled by a 720p webcam, which also supports Windows Hello. Lastly, the ASUS ExpertBook B9 draws power from a 65Wh battery that supports fast charging at 65W via the included power brick or a USB-PD charger. It weighs a little over 1 kg.
