There was even a rumour last year that ASUS is discontinuing its Zenfone smartphone lineup but the brand quickly clarified saying that it’s not true. ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra launch date

ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is confirmed to launch on March 14th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 8:00pm in Taipei, which would be 5:30pm in India. The launch announcement teaser also mentions New York and Berlin suggesting the phone will be available in these markets too.

ASUS has teased the Zenfone 11 Ultra as an “AI-integrated flagship phone”. This hints at AI features that will most likely arrive on the Zenfone 11 Ultra. ASUS would also be following the path of other smartphone brands that are heavily investing in generative AI features.

ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra specs (expected)

Display: ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz or 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Processor: The smartphone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
RAM and storage: It could come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Cameras: ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is expected to house a 50MP IMX890 primary camera with Gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 120° FoV, and a 32MP 3x optical zoom with OIS. For selfies, it could house a 32MP RGBW front camera.
Battery, charging: The Zenfone 11 Ultra is also expected to house a 5,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.
Colour options: At least four colour options are expected for the Zenfone 11 Ultra —Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna colours.
