After launching the iQOO 9 series earlier this year in India, the young brand appears to be expanding the lineup with a new model, dubbed the iQOO 9T. We have exclusively revealed the phone will debut in India in July, although an exact date is yet to be revealed. Now, in another exclusive, 91mobiles bring you some key specifications of the iQOO 9T, courtesy of industry sources. Furthermore, the handset had also bagged the BIS certification with the model number I2201.
The iQOO 9T will take power from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. It remains to be seen whether it will be the first phone in India with the latest chipset from the San Diego maker or the OnePlus 10T will tip it.
iQOO 9T specifications
According to sources, the iQOO 9T is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is the latest SoC. It is said to ship with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the display resolution isn’t immediately clear. The iQOO 9T is said to come in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models. Sources have revealed it would come in a Black colour option. Earlier reports suggested it would come with a 120W fast charging support.
Besides these specifications, the iQOO 9T has appeared on the BIS certification with model number I2201. The listing doesn’t reveal much else about the phone but it is a good indication to suggest the launch could be soon and the July unveiling looks quite possible at this moment. We can speculate there will hardly be any design changes over the iQOO 9 lineup but it’s good to have options and that too with the latest silicon.
