Here’s what we know about the Honor Choice smartwatch ahead of its India launch

The Honor Choice Watch is set to be launched in India on February 15th, and ahead of that, HTech has come up with some key details of the smartwatch. The company emphasises that the upcoming smartwatch will come with an AMOLED ultra-thin display, one-click SOS calling, built-in multi-system GNSS, and much more. Here are the key details of the Honor Choice Watch, which has been revealed by the company.

Honor Choice Watch key features

Display

• The Choice Watch utilises advanced display technology to provide clear visuals with a resolution of up to 410x502 and a retina-level display precision of 332 PPI on a 1.95-inch screen.
• HTech says it can achieve a 75 percent screen-to-body ratio and a dynamic 60Hz refresh rate.
• It will come with eight pre-installed and 21 dynamic "Always-on display" watch faces.

Battery

• The Honor Choice Watch is equipped with a 300mAh battery and is claimed to offer up to 12 days of typical usage on a single charge.
• The upcoming smartwatch features magnetic suction charging for convenient recharging.

Global navigation satellite system (GNSS)

• The upcoming smartwatch is said to utilise a built-in GNSS satellite positioning chip to achieve this functionality.
• The Choice Watch support five major global satellite positioning systems including GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS.

Health features

• The Honor Choice Watch is equipped with upgraded heart rate algorithms and advanced sensors that ensures continuous and accurate monitoring of heart rate.
• For SpO2 monitoring, the watch utilises sensors that employ red and infrared light, along with advanced algorithms, to estimate and monitor blood oxygen levels.
• The watch includes an innovative all-day stress monitoring function that continuously collects heart rate signals at intervals to evaluate stress levels.
• It seamlessly connects with a smartphone via the HONOR Health app, which is designed to monitor health conditions and offers various customised workout modules for outdoor and fitness activities.

IP rating

• The upcoming Choice Watch is designed with a 5ATM water resistance level, making it suitable for swimming and surfing.
• The smartwatch is said to exhibit waterproof capabilities, ensuring reliability even in adverse weather conditions.
• As per the company, the Choice Watch will serve as a dependable fitness partner, ready to accompany users through any weather challenges.

Other expected details of Honor Choice Watch

The Honor Choice Watch is launching in India this month alongside the Honor X9b and Honor Choice X5 earbuds. However, it is speculated that the upcoming smartwatch could potentially be a rebranded version of the Honor Choice Haylou Watch, which has already been released in China in December 2023. It is not yet confirmed, but the smartwatch is expected to be available in White and Black colours with interchangeable straps.
