Vivo S19, Vivo S19 Pro key specs leak out ahead of launch on May 30th

Through Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed all the major specifications and features of the upcoming Vivo S19 series phones.

Vivo S19

• Display: The Vivo S19 is tipped to boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with 4500 nits of peak brightness. In comparison, the Vivo S18 features a similar display but offers only 2800 nits of peak brightness.
• Chipset: As per the tipster, the upcoming S19 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, similar to the chipset provided on the predecessor.
• Rear camera: The Vivo S19 is anticipated to pack a 50MP OIS-enabled GNJ 1/1.56-inch main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, similar to the predecessor. The rear sensor will accompany a soft ring light.
• Selfie camera: The Vivo S19 might come with a 50MP selfie camera like what we saw in the Vivo S18.
• Battery, charging: The phone is tipped to feature a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging technology compared to a 5,000mAh battery on the Vivo S19.
• Other features: The tipster says that the Vivo S19 will come with a rock-hard anti-fall structure and plastic middle frame. It might include an IP64 water and dust resistance rating, NFC, Infrared, etc.

• Display: The Pro variant will also feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED curved screen with 4500 nit peak brightness, similar to what is tipped about the Vivo S19. Additionally, the Vivo S18 also featured 2800 nits of peak brightness.
• Chipset: The Vivo S19 Pro is tipped to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It is worth noting that the Vivo S18 Pro also featured the same chipset.
• Rear camera: As per DCS, the phone will pack a 50MP OIS-enable Sony IMX921 VCS 1/1.56-inch primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 50MP OIS-enabled telephone sensor with 50X digital zoom, and a soft ring light. Meanwhile, the S18 offers a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 12M telephoto portrait sensor.
• Selfie camera: It will likely flaunt a 50MP sensor on the front, like the Vivo S19 and its predecessor.
• Battery, charging: The Pro variant will likely feature a smaller 5,500mAh battery than the S19. However, the charging speeds are anticipated to be the same. Additionally, the predecessor featured only a 5,000mAh battery.
• Other features: The tipster notes that the phone might feature IP69, IP68 and IP64 ratings for different degrees of protection from water and dust. Additionally, it will come with NFC, infrared, and stereo dual speakers, among other features.
