Although the company didn’t ship its first foldable phone to Indian shores, we hope it releases the Vivo X Fold 2 in India. With that said, let’s look at what we can expect from the second-gen of the Vivo X Fold.
Vivo X Fold 2 launch, specifications tipped
Per tipster Digital Chat Station, Vivo X Fold 2 will launch alongside the Vivo X Flip in the first half of 2022. An exact launch date, however, is still a mystery. When released, it will compete with the likes of the forthcoming Google Pixel Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Furthermore, the leaker suggests that the device will flaunt a 2K foldable display, and both — the cover and inner — screens will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. The foldable phone will draw power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Photography needs on the Vivo X Fold 2 will be taken care of by an OIS-enabled Sony IMX866 primary camera.
Other details about the Vivo X Fold 2 are still under wraps, but we expect to learn more about it in the coming days.
