Garmin Forerunner 165 design details, price

Garmin’s upcoming Forerunner 165 will be available in three colour options: Black, White and Turquoise. It gets a refreshed design with a seemingly bigger display. It retains the five-button form factor, but the “Run” button now gets a more accessible pill-sized shape. Here are the high-resolution official renders of the upcoming sports watch’s Black and White colour variants.

Garmin Forerunner 165 will cost €279 (approx Rs 25,000) for the base model in European countries. You’ll have to shell out an extra €50 for the Music model, bringing the price up to €329 (approx Rs 29,000). Based on previously leaked specifications, the Garmin Forerunner 165 is expected to have the following specifications.

  • The Garmin Forerunner 165 Music model could feature 4GB of built-in storage and WiFi connectivity to transfer media.
  • The smartwatch is expected to feature a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a 390x390p resolution.
  • The sports watch could include a barometric altimeter to detect elevation during workouts.
  • Further, the device will also feature Garmin’s fourth generation “Elevate V4” PPG sensor.
  • Compared to the Garmin Forerunner 55, the new Forerunner 165 could feature a lesser battery life of 11 days.

We do not have any details on the watch’s India launch yet. The global launch, however, could take place within the next few weeks. To recall, Garmin opened its largest Indian experience store in Hyderabad last year and has been looking into increasing its brand recognition in the country.
