Google’s Pixel phones are known to have one of the best cameras in the market. The trick is in Google’s software magic that does most of the work along with the hardware. With the Pixel 8 series, Google is beefing up its AI to give you the perfect photos and videos even if you mess them up. This information comes from noted Android expert, Mishaal Rahman who got a hold of this Pixel Superfan survey that highlights some features possibly coming to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

First is the use of AI to remove background noise such as “the shouting of the fan in the next seat from your game-winning shot video.”
Another scenario is enhancing the “sound of your friends and family’s reactions during a thrilling game, while minimizing the background stadium noise.”
Coming to photos, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro’s AI camera will be able to give you the “perfect group photo” even if there’s someone distracted.
If that’s not enough, the AI will even merge everyone’s best shot for the “perfect team picture”. This implies taking everyone’s best expression from a group of shots and merging them into one.
The new AI features hint at some major possibilities of Google giving you the best possible photos and videos. It’s not confirmed though if these features will actually arrive with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8 voice replies

Another feature spotted by Rahman (via Android Authority), is the possibility of Google Assistant replying to messages on the Pixel 8. So if you receive a message on your phone, you can ask Assistant to reply to it by dictating the message. As for this feature, it could launch with the Pixel 8 or arrive later as a Pixel feature drop.
