Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+ have been launched in China. The smartphones come with a unique gradient design at the back, dual-mode 5G connectivity and have a curved edge-to-edge display with a punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie camera. The Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+ ship with vapour cooling to dissipate heat during gaming sessions, Wi-Fi 6+ support and stereo speakers with Histen sound effects. The smartphones tout quad cameras and 40W fast charging support. Other key Honor 30 series specifications include high refresh rate displays and up to 12GB RAM.

Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro, Pro+ price

Honor 30 price in China starts at RMB 2,999 (around Rs 32,500) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also comes in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations priced at RMB 3,199 (around 34,600) and RMB 3,499 (approx Rs 37,900), respectively. The Honor 30 Pro costs RMB 3,999 (around Rs 43,300) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and RMB 4,399 (approx Rs 47,600) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Lastly, the Honor 30 Pro+ comes with a price tag of RMB 4,999 (approx Rs 54,200) for the 8GB + 256GB model and RMB 5,499 (around Rs 59,500) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. All the three models are up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale from April 21st.

Honor 30 specifications

The vanilla Honor 30 sports a 6.53-inch full HD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the in-house Kirin 985 SoC coupled with Mali-G77 octa-core GPU, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The handset boots on Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.1.1. As for the optics, the Honor 30 features a quad camera setup consisting of a 40MP primary camera, a telephoto lens with 50x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there is a 32MP sensor for selfies and video chats. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast wired charging. Connectivity features include dual-mode 5G and NFC.

Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+ specifications

The Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ flaunt the same 6.57-inch 70-degree curved waterfall OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. They’re powered by the Kirin 990 5G SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that may not be further expandable. Both the phones boot Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.1.1 custom skin on top and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Honoe 30 Pro

In terms of optics, the Honor 30 Pro+ has a 50MP RYYB Sony IMX700 primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 50x digital zoom and 10x hybrid zoom, 5x optical zoom and dual OIS and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. As for the Honor 30 Pro, it has a 40MP RYYB IMX600 sensor, a telephoto lens with 50x digital zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 5x optical zoom and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both the phones have a 32MP + 8MP selfie shooters on the front and pack a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast wired charging. In addition to this, the Honor 30 Pro+ ships with a 27W fast wireless charging.
