HTech is also planning to start manufacturing Honor products in the coming year.
"We understand the IoT market in India is competitive and consumers expect cutting-edge technology and reliability in connected devices. HONOR maintains a strong focus on product quality and innovation across its range of products," said the company in a statement.
Besides this, HTech is also allegedly working on another launch in India, dubbed as the Honor X9B smartphone. The handset has already received the BIS certification, which suggests the announcement could be imminent. The Honor 9B could be a follow-up of the Honor 90 smartphone, which was introduced earlier this year.
As the company gears up to expand its product portfolio, HTech is also in line with the Indian government's vision to make the country a manufacturing hub. The brand also plans to start manufacturing Honor products in the coming year. This will enhance the local businesses and communities.
HTech is also looking to build an end-to-end supply chain in India and this helps generate around 4,000 new jobs by the end of next year. "HTech is also providing strong customer support and after-sales service with a network of 400 centres across the country," said the brand.
