The Hop Oxo electric bike will be available in two variants, Oxo and Oxo X, and are priced at Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively. The vehicle will be available from Hop's 100 experience centres across the country as well as online. The Oxo and Oxo X are available in three colour options - Red, Green and Blue.
The Oxo X variant gets connectivity features as well as a 4 years / unlimited-kilometre warranty on the battery. The lower-priced Oxo gets 4 year / 50,000km warranty on the battery. Both the variants come with 3 years of warranty on the vehicle, motor, charger and controller.
The Oxo gets a 3kW (continuous) / 5.2kW (peak) motor, while the motor on the Oxo X provides slightly higher peak power at 6.3kW. The motor is paired to a 3.75 kWh battery pack that is capable of from (0-100 percent) in 5 hours. The Oxo gets three riding modes, Eco, Power and Sport, while the Oxo X gets an extra Turbo mode. The Oxo and Oxo X are capable of a top speed of 90kmph and 95kmph, respectively.
The Oxo and Oxo X deliver a claimed range of 150km on a single charge. The Oxo twins get 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels and twin disc brakes, LED lighting, 5-inch LCD instrumentation, 180mm ground clearance and IP rating for the electricals.
The Oxo X also gets smartphone connectivity, 4G and GPS capabilities.
