Guerrilla Games had announced the first expansion for Horizon Forbidden West during The Game Awards 2022 in December. The Burning Shores expansion will bring new content to the beloved game for PS5 players. The developer has now kicked off pre-orders for Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores expansion and announced the pre-order rewards. Burning Shores brings a new adventure for Aloy that can be access after you complete the main story of Horizon Forbidden West. The expansion will be launching for PS5 next month.
Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores expansion is available to pre-order via PlayStation Store for Rs 1,664. The expansion will launch on April 19 at 5:30 AM IST in India. Players who pre-order Burning Shores will get Blacktide Dye outfit and Blacktide Sharpshot bow. The Blacktide Dye outfit can be picked up from the first dye merchant and the Blacktide Sharpshot bow can be obtained from the first merchant in Burning Shores. You will need to complete the entire main story of Horizon Forbidden West to play the expansion. Guerrilla said, “Following the events of Singularity, she will receive a call over her Focus, beginning the DLC. Aloy will then be able to travel to a dangerous new region south of the Tenakth Clan Lands, where players will experience a compelling new storyline featuring new characters, machines, and adventures.”
Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion takes Aloy to southern California, as hinted by the Hollywood sign in the DLC’s cover art. The official description of Burning shores expansion reads, “South of the Tenakth Clan Lands, millennia of volcanic eruptions and violent seismic activity have carved the ruins of Los Angeles into a treacherous archipelago. Experience the next chapter of Horizon Forbidden West as Aloy pursues a sinister new threat to the planet, hidden among these dangerous, untamed wilds.”
