What are the upgrades?
The Infinix Note 40 5G is quite an upgrade over the Note 30 5G that is already available in India. The Note 40 5G comes with a Dimensity 7020 SoC, compared to the Dimensity 6080 SoC on the successor. This should offer some notable improvements to performance. The front camera is upgraded to 32MP from a 16MP on the predecessor.
Both the Infinix Note 40 and Note 30 come with a 5,000mAh battery but the latter offers slightly faster 45W charging speed. However, the Note 40 brings 15W wireless charging support. This is missing on the Note 30. We get an in-display fingerprint sensor, an upgrade from the side-mounted sensor. The Infinix Note 40 5G brings an Active Halo lighting design, which is a new addition.
