iPhone 15 Pro Max launch may be delayed
- According to the report, the highest-end iPhone model with the “most advanced camera system” may be delayed into October.
- This is because of the image sensor readiness.
- Sony, who is the camera parts supplier may not be able to deliver the image sensor that will be used on the iPhone 15 Pro Max in time to ship alongside the other models.
- The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumoured to get a periscope lens system that is expected to offer a greater optical zoom than the current 3x limit.
- In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro will not get this upgrade and the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will get ultra-wide and wide-angle cameras only.
