  • While the analyst hasn’t shared the exact price details at the moment, he claims that the Pro models will see a price hike of up to $200.
  • This clearly suggests that Apple is aiming to increase the price of the iPhones by a vast margin.
  • While the US variants of the iPhone 14 Pro variants haven’t seen a price hike, the rest of the international markets witnessed a steep price hike.
  • This means the iPhone 15 Pro price hike will be the second time in a row, according to the source.
  • The report doesn’t explicitly mention the reason behind the price hike but we believe the new hardware improvements and increase in the cost of materials could be the main reason.

To recall, the iPhone 14 Pro price in India is Rs 129,900 for the base model. At the same time, the price in the US is set at $999 (approx Rs 82,400). Going by this, the $200 price hike means the base iPhone 14 Pro would cost $1,199 in the US (which translates to Rs 98,900).

However, it is hard to come to a conclusion about the price in India considering Apple was never on-point with conversions and then there’s tax. One thing’s for sure, the iPhone 15 Pro lineup could be pretty expensive in India. Since we’re almost a couple of months away from the launch, a lot could change in the meantime. We should know more details soon.
