After launching the iQOO 11 series in the first half of this year, iQOO is now reportedly all set to launch its next flagship series, the iQOO 12. The iQOO 11 series comprises of iQOO 11 vanilla model along with the iQOO 11 Pro 5G. While the former made it to Indian markets, the latter was not launched by the company in India and whether it will launch the pro variant here is still not known yet. A recent report by Digital Chat Station via TechGoing revealing iQOO 12 key specifications including battery details have surfaced online ahead of its launch, let’s have a look at the same.
iQOO 12 5G specifications (expected)
Any official details on the iQOO 12 specification have not been revealed by the Chinese company yet; however, as per the new leak, the iQOO 12 will pack a 5,000mAh battery. The iQOO 11 series had the same battery capacity. The leak further suggests that the handset will come with 200W fast charging support which is an upgrade as well as with wireless charging. It is interesting to see that the vanilla iQOO 12 model might come with this fast charging support as over the years the company has reserved the high-ranging fast-charging tech for its Pro models.
What is also essential to see is whether iQOO will now launch its upcoming flagship phones with 200W fast charging support in the Indian markets. The reason being, the company has so far restricted its Pro models (which would come with such high fast charging tech) exclusively to the Chinese market. Only the vanilla models have made it to the Indian and other markets so far.
The iQOO 12 Pro is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery under the hood along with the same 200W fast charging support. The Pro variant is further rumoured to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Other iQOO 12 Pro specifications have not been revealed yet.
