Back in February 2026, iQOO surprised many by launching its first-ever Ultra flagship in China. Until then, the brand had largely kept its premium lineup straightforward, relying on a single numbered flagship each year instead of expanding into Ultra variants. Now, about six months later, the iQOO 15 Ultra could finally be preparing to step beyond its home market.
The flagship has reportedly surfaced on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification website, a development that often signals an upcoming launch in European markets. While the listing doesn’t reveal any hardware details, it suggests iQOO may soon introduce the phone outside China. Tipster Anvin spotted the certification, which lists the iQOO 15 Ultra under model numbers V2546A and I2603. The former is associated with the Chinese variant.
Key specifications
The iQOO 15 Ultra packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and features a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The camera system includes three 50MP sensors covering wide, periscope telephoto and ultrawide photography, while selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera. One of its biggest highlights is the battery, which is among the larger ones on mainstream flagship smartphone. It also supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The iQOO 15 Ultra upgrades the standard iQOO 15 with a built-in active cooling fan, dedicated pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a larger 7,400mAh battery (vs 7,000mAh), and up to 24GB RAM option.
Availability and pricing
The iQOO 15 Ultra debuted in China at CNY 5,699 (around Rs 74,000) for the 16GB + 256GB variant. For now, the EEC listing only points towards a possible European launch and offers no clues about an India debut. In fact, recent reports suggest the opposite – iQOO is scaling back its India smartphone strategy, with the iQOO 16 also reportedly unlikely to launch here this year. A tipster says the company may only launch budget Z-series models here.
For buyers outside China, a global launch would bring another flagship into a segment where Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo and OPPO compete with their Ultra models.. Even if the iQOO 15 Ultra doesn’t arrive in every market, expanding its availability could give enthusiasts more choice at the ultra-premium end. For iQOO, the move is notable given the current industry climate. With memory costs rising and several brands passing those increases on to consumers, introducing its highest-end model globally suggests the company still sees value in competing for the premium flagship buyer.
