iQOO Z8 launch timeline, RAM and storage option

On Weibo, tipster Panda is Bald said that the iQOO Z7 is expected to be launched in China in September.
The smartphone is tipped to come with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which is in line with the Geekbench listing. In comparison, the iQOO Z7 came with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
As far as the colours are concerned, the tipster mentioned that the iQOO Z7 will be unveiled in Isle of Man (green), Black and Blue colours.

iQOO Z8 specifications (expected)

A recent leak suggested that the upcoming iQOO Z8 smartphone will come equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate LCD screen, although the exact size of the display is yet to be disclosed.
It’s worth noting that the iQOO Z7 model released in India had an AMOLED display, which differs from the LCD screen used in the Chinese version.
The iQOO Z8 is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and will run on Android 13.
The upcoming iQOO Z8 will likely feature a dual-cell battery configuration, using two 2,440mAh batteries that combine to provide a total battery capacity of 5,000mAh.
Additionally, the iQOO Z8 is anticipated to incorporate 120W fast charging technology, enabling the device to recharge quickly.

It’s important to mention that the iQOO Z8 launch date hasn’t been officially revealed yet. The iQOO Z8 series is expected to include the vanilla iQOO Z8, the iQOO Z8 Pro and an iQOO Z8x. On the other hand, the iQOO Z7 Pro is set to make its debut in India on August 31st.
