iQOO Z9 chipset, battery specs revealed ahead of India launch

Here’s what else has been revealed about the iQOO Z9. 

iQOO Z9 key specs officially revealed

• iQOO Z9 is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor. This would put the phone in the mid-range category as phones like the Vivo T2 Pro is powered by the same chipset. It’s also worth noting that the iQOO Z7 Pro comes with the same chipset.
• Another ‘first in the segment’ is going to be the 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with OIS on the iQOO Z9. It will come with a 5,000mAh battery as well.
• The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1800 nits of peak brightness, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The iQOO Z9 will come in a slim 7.83mm body with a brushed pattern and a black camera module. It will have two colour options of Brushed Green and Graphene Blue with the former flaunting a metallic overall look.

iQOO has revealed most of the important details about the Z9. As for the rest of its specs, the iQOO Z9 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch display. It could launch with up to 8GB of RAM with the option of virtual RAM as well. On the software front, the iQOO Z9 will most likely run Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. It’s also tipped to offer 44W fast charging technology.  

iQOO Z9 is also tipped to cost Rs 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, which would be the base model for the smartphone.
