Smartphone brand iQOO recently launched the iQOO Z9 in India, and now rumours are circulating online about a smartphone model called the iQOO Z9 Turbo. While the company has yet to confirm the upcoming phone, leaks about the Turbo variant have appeared online, hinting at its display, chipset, and more.
iQOO Z9 Turbo key specifications tipped
Without naming the smartphone, tipster Digital Chat Station via Weibo has revealed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to feature a flat 1.5K display. As per the tipster, it will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 6,000mAh battery.
In other news, the iQOO Z9 5G was launched in India recently with a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It comes in Graphene Blue and Brushed Green colours.
The iQOO Z9 5G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display, 1,800 nits peak brightness, and DT-Star2 Plus Glass protection. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with ARM Mali-G610 GPU. The phone offers 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a microSD card. It operates on Android 14-based Funtouch 14 custom skin.
In terms of photography, the iQOO Z9 features a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS main camera with LED flash alongside a 2MP bokeh camera. The new Z9 features a 16MP shooter for selfies and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
