OnePlus 12R OxygenOS update details
According to a post on the OnePlus community, the latest OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 update for the OnePlus 12R is being gradually release0.
For users in the global region, the update is labelled with version number CPH2609_14.0.0.500(EX01), while Indian users will receive version CPH2585_14.0.0.500(EX01).
All the changes are detailed in the changelog. It includes several system updates with the February 2024 Android security patch. Users will notice enhancements in stability, performance, and the fingerprint unlocking process.
OnePlus has addressed issues leading to app crashes. Additionally, there are improvements in network connection stability and NFC compatibility expansion. The camera has also been enhanced for stability and improved performance to offer users a better experience.
The release of the latest firmware is likely happening gradually. This means that initially, only a small number of users will receive an OTA update, with a wider rollout planned for the near future.

The OnePlus 12R has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It operates on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.0.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 12R gets a Sony IMX890 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone features a 16MP front camera.
