New smart ring: Ring One launch dates, offers

  • The startup is planning to unveil the Ring One for global users on September 27th. Meanwhile, the India launch of the smart ring is confirmed to take place on October 25th.
  • The price of the upcoming Ring One hasn’t been revealed. However, users can pre-book the device at Rs 99 via the their official website.
  • The website mentioned that for just Rs 99, people can secure a Ring One and receive a special Super Invite for the launch event. This means that early customers can – buy the product at a 30 percent lower price, get free access to their app for life and receive their orders with priority.

  • Besides keeping tabs on your health, the highlighted feature of the Ring One is that you can use it to make contactless payments in just four seconds. The details of its functioning are yet to be revealed.
  • The upcoming smart ring can monitor six important health measures – heart rate, heart rate patterns, blood oxygen levels, body temperature, how fast you breathe, and blood pressure.
  • The Ring One can also monitor your sleep patterns, and it will come with a Relaxation Index to assist users with meditation.
  • The upcoming smart ring can also keep tabs on workouts and provide detailed information to help improve fitness progress.
  • The smart ring is said to be waterproof up to 100 meters, so users can swim and shower while wearing it.
  • The upcoming Ring One is claimed to last up to seven days on a single charge.
  • The smart ring will likely come in nine different sizes and four colour options, including Black, Silver, All-Black, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Muse Wearables, which started at the IIT Madras incubation cell, sells smartwatches and other wearable electronics that can be used for making payments. The company is located in Bengaluru and has official offices in Chennai, Singapore, and the US.
