Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have been launched in China. Xiaomi took the wraps off the two flagship smartphones in the lineup, which are also expected to launch globally soon. The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro specifications include the Snapdragon 865 SoC, curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and punch-hole for the selfie camera. Both the smartphones also tout 108MP quad cameras. While some specifications are similar, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro offer different battery, cameras, storage, and fast charging tech. The Mi 10 maxes out at 256GB built-in storage and 30W support, while the Pro model comes with 512GB storage onboard and 50W fast charging tech. Both the phones are paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro price and sale date

The Mi 10 price in China starts at RMB 3,999 (~Rs 41,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone’s 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage has been priced at RMB 4,299 (~Rs 44,000) and RMB 4,699 (~Rs 48,000). The handset will be available for sale in the country from February 14th onwards.

The Mi 10 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a sticker price of RMB 4,999 (~Rs 51,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs RMB 5,499 (~Rs 55,000), while the top-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option will set you back to RMB 5,999 (~Rs 61,000). Xiaomi has also announced a custom case for the Mi 10 Pro that costs RMB 69 (~Rs 716).

Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro specifications

Both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro ship with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display that bear Full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,340p), 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also sports a punch-hole at the top-left corner for the selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. The phones have Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 5G mode, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB storage under the hood. Notably, the Mi 10 houses a 4,780mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support, while the Mi 10 Pro gets a smaller 4,500mAh battery but supports a faster 50W fast charging tech. Both phones come with an impressive 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support.

The Mi 10 sports quad-rear cameras with 108MP main sensor that employs the ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor from Samsung. This is assisted by a couple of 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture, 13MP f/2.4 wide-angle lens, and LED Flicker. The Mi 10 Pro, on the other hand, gets a 108MP main camera, 12MP short telephoto lens, 8MP long telephoto lens and a 20MP ultra wide-angle lens. Xiaomi revealed the Mi 10 Pro has scored 124 on DxOMark, making it the new leader in the camera ranking. The front camera of the phone gets a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The cameras are backed by 8K video recording, mimoji, HDR, AI, smart document capture, iPhone 11-like slofie, and more.

Software-wise, the Mi 10 series boots Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ Galileo, and USB Type-C port. Lastly, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro come with Hi-Res Audio support.
