Following the launch of the Moto G04 in February, the smartphone brand is set to unveil the Moto G04s for Indian consumers. The Flipkart microsite has revealed the phone’s launch date in India and confirmed that it will feature a 90Hz display, RAM boost support, Android 14 and much more. Moto G04s India launch date, availability
According to Flipkart’s microsite, the Moto G04s will be launched in India on May 30th, and it is confirmed that the phone will be available on the e-commerce platform for sale. It is worth noting that most of the company’s smartphones, including the Moto G04, are available for purchase via Flipkart.
As per the listing, the upcoming Moto G04s will be available for purchase in shades of Dark Orange, Green, Black and Blue. This Moto smartphone weighs 178.8 grams and is said to be 7.99mm thick.
Moto G04s specifications
- Display: The Moto G04s will flaunt a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. In comparison, the Moto G04 has a 6.56-inch HD+ with the same refresh rate.
- Chipset: The upcoming phone will be equipped with the UniSoC T606 paired with Mali G57 GPU, which is also there in the recently launched Moto G04.
- Camera: As per the listing, the Moto G04s will boast a 50MP AI main camera on the rear. It will also feature portrait mode as well as auto night vision support. This would be a major difference between the Moto G04s and the Moto G04, as the latter comes with a 16MP sensor on the rear. There’s no detail about the selfie camera yet.
- RAM and storage: The Moto G04s will offer 4GB+64GB storage configuration and will come with a RAM Boost option up to 8GB, which will help to expand RAM virtually. Meanwhile, the Moto G04 offers 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB storage options.
- Battery: Like the Moto G04, the upcoming Moto G04s will also house a 5,000mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to 102 hours of music playback and 20 hours of video playback. There is no mention of the fast charging support on the Moto G04s.
- Software, other features: The Moto G04s will operate on Android 14 and will support Dolby Atmos and Moto Gestures for easy accessibility.
It is worth noting that the Moto G04s share a lot of specifications with the recently announced Moto G04. However, the upcoming smartphone will carry a better rear camera setup than the Moto G04. Keeping this in mind, we expect the Moto G04s to be priced a bit higher than the Moto G04, which was launched at a starting price of Rs 7,999 for the base model and is now available on Flipkart for Rs 6,999.
