Motorola Razr 40 series discounts at Amazon Great Indian Festival and Motorola Festive sale

The Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra launched in India in July and went on sale for Rs 59,999 and Rs. 89,999 respectively. During the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale and Motorola’s festive offers on its own website, these devices are available at a price tag of Rs 49,999 and Rs. 79,999, respectively.

This is a flat discount of Rs 10,000 on both models. Further, you can avail Rs. 5,000 instant discount with SBI and HDFC cards on the Motorola website and with just SBI cards on Amazon for the Motorola Razr 40. Similarly, a Rs 7,000 instant discount will be available for Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, bringing the effective price down to Rs 44,999 and Rs 72,999, respectively, for both models.

Motorola Razr 40 at Rs 44,999: should you buy?

Motorola Razr 40 is already available at its effective discounted price of Rs 44,999 on both Amazon and Motorola websites as a part of Kickstarter deals while the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra sales may start a little later. This makes the Motorola Razr 40 the cheapest foldable on sale as it dethrones the newly launched Tecno Phantom V Flip by being Rs. 3,000 cheaper.

It is certainly a good device for someone who wants to try out a flip foldable phone for the first time but doesn’t want to spend the flagship money that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 or OPPO Find N2 Flip demand. The phone has a 144Hz 6.9-inch display, gapless hinge, leather finish back and Gorilla Glass Victus on its small cover display.

A 4,200mAH battery powers this device which is a pretty decent capacity for this form factor. The cover display can be used as a camera viewfinder and the phone can also act as a tripod in flex mode. It clearly does not offer the flagship specs that some devices like the OnePlus 11 will provide at their discounted prices but it certainly checks the basics to become a great “budget” foldable phone.
