The Tecno Camon 30 series was announced at MWC 2024. There are a total of four models in the lineup, including the Tecno Camon 30 Premier, Camon 30 Pro, Camon 30 5G, and Camon 30 4G. The Premier model is set to debut in the second quarter of 2024 i.e. between April and June. This is the costliest model in the series and comes with the new Tecno PolarAce Imaging System. The Tecno Camon 30 series price details are not revealed at the moment but these should be shared close to launch in select markets.
Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G specifications
- Display: The Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO display with 1,264 x 2,780p pixels resolution and 1,400 nits peak brightness.
- Front camera: There is a 50MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
- Processor: The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC.
- RAM/Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. There is support for up to 12GB virtual RAM for better multitasking.
- OS: Android 14 out of the box.
- Battery: The Tecno Camon 30 Premier packs a 5,000mAh battery with 70W wireless charging support.
- Cameras: We get a 50MP Sony IMX890 with OIS, a 70mm periscope 50MP sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
- The phone features a Sony CXD5622GG ISP and is rated at 4.6 TFLOPS at FP16. This is claimed to be more than the phone’s chipset and is more power-efficient to boot.
- The phone enables full-scene AI noise reduction for HDR (a first in the industry) videos and 4K Ultra Night Vision videos.

- Cameras: There is a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. We get a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
- Battery: We get a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support.
- OS: Android 14-based HiOS custom skin out of the box.
- Others: Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, an under-display fingerprint sensor for security, and an IR blaster.
