Customers have started receiving their Nothing Phone (2) devices globally. The brand has pushed out a new software update with major upgrades in the camera app.
Nothing OS 2.0.1 for Nothing Phone (2) changelog
The release notes of the new Nothing OS 2.0.1 upgrade mention new features but the focus is mainly on Nothing Phone (2)'s Glyph system and camera app. Here are all the important changes that the new software update features.
- Camera: New 2X portrait mode, motion capture in 50MP mode, optimised HDR and zooming clarity, reduced lag and improved stabilisation during video recording.
- Glyph lighting: New Glyph composer app, progress bar for Uber app, and new Nothing Machine ringtones.
- Appearance: Four new wallpapers, widgets can now be added to both the lock screen and the always-on display, and one-handed mode.
- Bug fixes: The brand has improved network stability, and ironed out issues regarding quick settings and NFC functionality.
