OnePlus 12 tipped to offer bigger, brighter display as compared to OnePlus 11

As smartphone maker OnePlus is preparing to unveil the OnePlus 12 in China this December, a tipster has come with the display and storage details about the upcoming OnePlus 12. As per the details, it looks like the OnePlus 12 will offer a bigger and brighter display than its predecessor, the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus 12 display details tipped

On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch curved display with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels and a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate.
The tipster also said that the OnePlus 12 would offer a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, which is double as compared to the OnePlus 11 as it featured a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
As per the tipster, when the brightness is set to low, the display will use rapid 2,160Hz PWM dimming.

OnePlus 12 storage details, colour options

The tipster mentioned that the top-end storage variant of the OnePlus 12 will feature 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
It is worth mentioning that currently, only a few smartphones, including Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro Plus, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, and Realme GT 5, offer 24GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, regarding colours, the tipster revealed that the OnePlus 12 would likely come in shades of Green, Black and White.

The same tipster recently noted that the OnePlus 12 would come with a 50MP Sony IMX966 main camera with OIS, which will be 1/1.4-inch sensor with 23mm focal length, and an f/1.7 aperture.
The upcoming smartphone is also said to offer 48MP ultra-wide angle sensor that might be a Sony IMX581 sensor with a 1/2-inch sensor.
As per a report, the major highlight will be the OmniVision OV64B 64MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/2-inch telephoto lens, a 70mm focal length, and an f/2.5 aperture. Here are some other expected details.
Regarding chipset, the OnePlus 12 will pack the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and likely house a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging technology.
