Now a new leak reveals details about the OnePlus 12’s camera. This time, OnePlus is highly expected to add a periscope camera, which would be a major upgrade for the flagship phone.

OnePlus 12 camera details leaked

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 50MP Sony IMX966 primary camera with OIS. It will be a 1/1.4-inch sensor with 23mm focal length, and an f/1.7 aperture. The smartphone will also house a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens that could be a Sony IMX581 sensor with a 1/2-inch sensor, 14mm focal length and an f/2.2 aperture.

The highlight will be the OmniVision OV64B 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on the OnePlus 12. This one is a 1/2-inch telephoto lens with a 70mm focal length, and an f/2.5 aperture. This camera will reportedly offer a 3x optical zoom, and it will also come with OIS.

For selfies, the smartphone is expected to feature a 32MP front camera. As for the rest of its specifications, here’s what has been leaked for the OnePlus 12 so far.

RAM and storage: The smartphone is expected to launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Battery, charging: OnePlus 12 could pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging support.
Software: On the software front, the smartphone will most likely run Oxygen OS 14 based on the upcoming Android 14 OS.
