OnePlus is going to launch a bunch of products in its home market in October. There is the long-anticipated OnePlus Open foldable phone, the OnePlus Pad Go tablet, the OnePlus 12 and the titular OnePlus Ace 3. This new OnePlus Ace could launch globally as OnePlus 12R as it’s been historically the case with the Ace series. The newly leaked OnePlus Ace 3 specs also hint at the same thing.

OnePlus Ace 3 specifications (expected)

OnePlus Ace 3 specs have been tipped by DigitalChatStation on Weibo and these add to what we already knew about the phone:

Display: OnePlus could give the Ace 3 a 6.74-inch OLED screen on the front with curved edges, punch-hole, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and PWM dimming support. This panel could feature wet-hand technology that makes the screen usable even when either your hands or the screen is wet.
Processor: Ace 3 is expected to be running on a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Even the OnePlus Open foldable could be shipping with the same chipset.
Battery: The phone could be living on a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support.

Software: OnePlus could launch the Ace 3 with Android-14 based ColorOS 14 in China but it could come to India and global markets as OnePlus 12R with OxygenOS 14 skin.
Memory: You could get to pick the device with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Cameras: The Ace 3 rear camera setup could consist of a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide OmniVision OV8D10 sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom capability. On the front, there could be a 16MP selfie taker.
Miscellaneous: In the mix of things, we could also get features like an in-screen fingerprint scanner, 5G, USB-C port, IP68 dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC support.
