OnePlus Open‘s launch is yet to be revealed by the company officially but tipster Max Jambor has tipped a new date for the unveiling of the OnePlus Open. According to the leak, the first foldable from OnePlus will debut on October 19th. OnePlus Open was initially expected to debut around late August but later the announcement was delayed citing issues with the BOE display and the branding switching to Samsung panels.

The OnePlus Open, as said, is tipped to debut on October 19th, which is around a month away from today.
This date is still a bit late than the alleged revised target of late September/early October.
At TechCrunch Disrupt 2023, Robin Liu, OnePlus CEO of North America, clarified that the first foldable phone from the brand will be launched soon. However, he shared no specifications.

OnePlus Open specifications (expected)

Display: The OnePlus Open foldable is tipped to sport a 7.8-inch AMOLED 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer screen is a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor: The foldable is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and storage: The chipset will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.
OS: OxygenOS 13.1 with Android 13 OS out-of-the-box.
Cameras: There could be triple camera sensors on the back, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP secondary shooter, and a 64MP lens. The OnePlus Open could have 32MP and 20MP front cameras on the front.
Battery: There might be a 4,800mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

OnePlus Open price in India (tipped)

The OnePlus Open price in India is tipped to be between Rs 1,10,000 and Rs 1,20,000. If true, this is much cheaper than the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is priced at Rs 1,54,999.
