Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its first foldable smartphone, and it earlier confirmed that the smartphone will be launched this year. But tipster Max Jambhor has come up with the launch timeline of the upcoming OnePlus foldable, suggesting that it might be launched in the month of August. The timeline indicates that it will most likely go official after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Google Pixel Fold.
According to rumors, the company will introduce the phone as the OnePlus V Fold. For the name of the phone, it has already applied for a trademark in China. Additionally, the phone will be available in a flip version. Let us take a look at the known details of the upcoming OnePlus foldable.
OnePlus foldable launch timeline
During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, the company confirmed that it would launch its first foldable this year, and now the tipster has revealed the launch timeline of the upcoming OnePlus V fold, which is said to be August. However, the company has not officially shared the upcoming foldable phone’s launch date yet.
OnePlus foldable specifications (expected)
Some reports have hinted that the OnePlus foldable will be a rebadged version of the OPPO Find N2, which has been official in China. It should be noted that OnePlus officially merged with OPPO last year. Therefore, we might see some similarities between both phones. However, it is still unconfirmed whether it will be a rebadged version of the OPPO Find N2 or will feature different specifications.
