OnePlus Nord 6 was officially teased in India earlier this week. The new smartphone is part of the Nord series, which is OnePlus’ mid-range lineup offering performance-focused specs but at a more affordable price than the flagship series. OnePlus Nord 6 has been rumoured for quite some time, and now the Indian variant of the smartphone has reportedly appeared on Geekbench, giving us a preview of its performance.
A OnePlus smartphone with the model number CPH2793 was spotted on Geekbench, believed to be the Nord 6. The Geekbench listing reveals an octa core chipset (2 x 2.02 GHz, 2 x 2.80 GHz, 3 x 3.01 GHz, 1 x 3.21 Ghz) with a maximum clock speed of 3.21 GHz. The architecture confirms it’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, as rumoured before. The smartphone is also running Android 16 and comes with 12GB of RAM.

The Geekbench listing shows the OnePlus Nord 6 scoring 2,040 in single-core and 6,520 in multi-core tests. These are strong results for a mid-range smartphone, pointing to flagship-like performance that should carry over into everyday use. The Nord series has primarily focused on performance and endurance, and the upcoming Nord 6 seems to be carrying on that legacy.
This listing suggests the leaked specifications of the Nord 6 might turn out to be accurate. The smartphone is speculated to launch as a rebrand of the OnePlus Turbo 6 from China. So, apart from the chipset, the OnePlus Nord 6 could launch with a 9,000mAh Glacier Battery and 80W fast charging support. This would be the phone’s highlight, offering one of the largest batteries in its segment. It may even directly compete with the newly launched POCO X8 Pro Max, which also has a 9,000mAh battery.
OnePlus Nord 6 could also feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The flagship OnePlus 15 series also comes with the high refresh rate for a smooth gaming experience. The Nord 6 is tipped to feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, it could house a 16MP front camera.
Overall, the Nord 6 would have performance and endurance as its key selling points. The smartphone’s cameras may not be the best and alternatives might offer better propositions. But, anyone looking for a performance-focused phone that offers a large battery, the OnePlus Nord 6 would be worth waiting for.
