Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has confirmed that it is launching the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2 in India on April 4th, alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. However, ahead of its launch, tipster Mukul Sharma has leaked some alleged features of the upcoming buds. According to Sharma, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will be added with some interesting features, including up to 25dB ANC, a bigger battery compared to its predecessor, fast charging support, and a lot more.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2 features

According to the tipster, the earbuds would include up to 25dB of active noise reduction (ANC). These truly wireless headphones are supposed to include 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers, and they will likely be able to operate for up to 36 hours on a single charge, case included, along with fast charging support. In addition, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are rumoured to feature four microphones and an IP55 rating. It is expected to be available in two colour options – Lightning White and Thunder Gray.

Comparatively, the original OnePlus Nord Buds, which were launched last year, had 12.4mm titanium drivers with Dolby Atmos support and OnePlus acoustic tuning technology, but no Active Noise Cancellation. They also had IPX55 water and dust rating. However, the OnePlus Nord Buds offered up to 30 hours of music playback, but the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are said to offer up to 36 hours of playback time.

It should be noted that the company has also tweeted recently, “…10 minutes of juice will get you 5 hours of action,” indicating the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will come with fast charging support.
