OnePlus Pad Go 2 to debut in India with Stylo support, Dimensity 7300-Ultra, and a 10,050mAh battery; sales begin Dec 18
OnePlus has revealed fresh details about the OnePlus Pad Go 2, which will arrive as the successor to the OnePlus Pad Go launched in 2023. The new tablet is set to debut in India on December 17th, alongside the OnePlus 15R, with sales beginning the following day on December 18th. The budget tablet has been designed for students and young professionals, promising meaningful upgrades in performance, battery life, display quality, and accessories.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, a capable mid-range chipset offering strong performance for gaming and everyday tasks. OnePlus says the tablet has passed TÜV SÜD’s four-year Fluency certification, ensuring smooth and reliable performance from day one through long-term use.
A standout upgrade is the 10,050mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging. The company claims endurance of up to 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music, or 60 days of standby. The tablet also supports reverse cable charging, letting users power up their smartphone in a pinch. In comparison, its predecessor, the OnePlus Pad Go 2, has an 8,000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging.

OnePlus also announced the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, the first stylus designed specifically for a Pad Go device. It features superfast charging, claimed to deliver half a day of writing or drawing with just 10 minutes of charge. Up front, the Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch display with 900 nits HBM brightness, 284 PPI and 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It offers a 7:5 aspect ratio, 88.5% screen-to-body ratio and with Dolby Vision and TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0 certification. The screen is also optimised for OnePlus’s Open Canvas multitasking software, so you can use it in split-screen mode and easily switch between multiple windows.
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is also expected to arrive in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants, similar to its predecessor. While pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, it is likely to remain in the budget segment, just like the original Pad Go, which launched at Rs 19,999 (Wi-Fi) and Rs 21,999 (LTE). If OnePlus follows a similar structure, the Pad Go 2 should remain a budget-friendly option, albeit slightly higher due to its upgraded hardware. For a more affordable alternative, OnePlus also offers the Pad Lite, priced at Rs 14,999. But for buyers willing to spend a bit more for better performance and features, the Pad Go 2 could be the more compelling choice.
In terms of competition, the expected pricing also positions the OnePlus Pad Go 2 against the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+. OnePlus may have the upper hand with its larger, brighter display, bigger battery, and faster chipset, while Samsung counters with its impressive seven-year software support, offering stronger long-term value.
