OnePlus Pad, the brand’s first-ever tablet, is known to be in the works for a while now. The tablet is expected to expand the company’s product portfolio beyond phones, smart TVs, audio, and wearables. Now, as the company is gearing up to unveil the OnePlus 10 series early next year, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from noted tipster Mukul Sharma that the OnePlus Pad will launch in India by the first half of 2022. Although it isn’t clear how many models will be unveiled in China, the Indian market will get at least one model, Mukul tells us.
Furthermore, the tablet will not debut in India alongside the OnePlus 10 series, which means a Q1 2022 launch seems unlikely. Unfortunately, the OnePlus Pad tablet specifications are unknown at the moment but we hope to learn more going forward. Either way, this looks like good news with regards to the OnePlus Pad.

Separately, an alleged OnePlus’s CES event invite has leaked online recently. This showed the company will be holding an event on January 5th. There are speculations the brand might tease or showcase the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro flagships on the stage and reveal some details about them. However, earlier reports have indicated that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in China first and then expand to other markets, including India by March/April. Both the models are expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and have 125W fast charging support on board. They will be the first to boot OPPO-OnePlus unified OS out of the box and this will be a big shift for itself from OxygenOS skin. We should know more details about the phones soon.
