  • According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) (via IT Home), the upcoming smartphones from sister companies OnePlus and Realme will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
  • The upcoming processor is created using TSMC’s N4P process, which is known for its advanced manufacturing technology. It follows a unique architecture design called 1+5+2, which means it consists of 1 powerful Cortex X4 core, 5 high-performance Cortex A720 cores, and 2 efficient Cortex A520 cores. This combination allows for a balance between power and efficiency.
  • In addition to OnePlus and Realme smartphones, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series, OnePlus 12, Vivo X100, and iQOO 12 series devices are also expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
  • The report further adds that these smartphones will come with 24GB of RAM. This would definitely ensure fast and smooth performance but might just be an overkill as well.
  • OnePlus and Realme are expected to launch the phones in a 16GBRAM configuration as well, and with 1TB of onboard storage.
  • The tipster shared more details about the upcoming OnePlus and Realme smartphones. These include a 1.5K ultra-narrow curved screen, IMX890 OIS main camera, and 150W fast charging technology.
  • However, in that post, the tipster mentioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which makes us wonder if the tipster is talking about the same smartphones.

It should be noted that the report is based on speculations as of now, as the company has not made any official announcement yet. We might have to wait longer as the chipset is yet to launch.

The Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro+ comes with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It has been launched in China for CNY 7,499 (around Rs 85,153). The smartphone comes in more RAM and storage configurations. As of now, we have no information on whether the smartphone will be launched in India or not.
