OPPO Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro price, sale details

OPPO Reno 12 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 (Rs 39,800 approx) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes in two more variants: 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB priced at CNY 3,699 (Rs 43,300 approx) and CNY 3,999 (Rs 46,800 approx), respectively. Do note that these are the sale prices for the 16GB models.
It comes in three colour options: Silver Fantasy Purple, Ebony Black, and Champagne Gold.
The Reno 12 has been launched at a starting price of CNY 2,699 (Rs 31,500 approx) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes in three more variants: 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 256GB.
The Reno 12 comes in three colour options: Soft Peach, Ebony Black, and Millennium Silver.

OPPO Reno 12 Pro, Reno 12 features and specifications

OPPO Reno 12 Pro and Reno 12 feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200 nits peak brightness. The Reno 12 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition, while the Reno 12 comes with the Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition. The two phones are available with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage.

In the photography department, the Reno 12 series features a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 50MP portrait lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, you get a 50MP front camera on the Reno 12 and 12 Pro.

The primary camera is the Sony IMX890 with OIS (seen in India on the Tecno Camon 30), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. For selfies, both phones house a 50MP front camera. Both smartphones also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. On the software front, the Reno 12 series runs ColorOS 14 with Android 14 out of the box.

The new Reno 12 phones are also baked with AI. Similar to Magic Eraser, the OPPO Reno 12 comes with AI-based closed-eye correction, elimination to remove objects from photos, and cutout so you can easily extract objects. It also lets you generate recording summaries with one click with AI, English language tutoring, and document scans as well.

OPPO Reno 12 series: what are the upgrades?

The OPPO Reno 12 series succeeds the Reno 11 series that launched in November last year. It’s a shorter launch cycle for the Reno series compared to other phones. If we compare the Reno 12 phones with the Reno 11 series, the display stays the same but OPPO has expanded the RAM capacity up to 16GB from 12GB. The cameras have also received an upgrade with the 32MP sensor replaced by the 50MP portrait lens.

Another key upgrade is in the battery department. The Reno 11 series packs a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Reno 12 phones come with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
