POCO F5 5G is set to launch in India on May 9th as a successor to the POCO F4 from last year. Speculations are rife that the handset is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The company has been openly teasing new features of the phone. It has already been confirmed the POCO F5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC, which is claimed to be as powerful as the Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Now, POCO India head, Himansu Tandon in interaction with influencer Rajiv Makhni, revealed more details about the F5 5G, such as the RAM, storage, colour options and more.

POCO F5 5G details revealed

POCO F5 5G will come as a premium offering in the country. According to the country head, the handset will come in two colour options: Carbon Black and Snowstorm White. The former has a glossy back panel. Furthermore, the phone will pack 8GB RAM and 256GB storage but there are chances we might also see a 12GB RAM version. The teaser images confirmed there will be triple cameras on the back.

Display: POCO F5 is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole selfie camera.
Processor: POCO F5 is already confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
RAM and Storage: The POCO F5 is expected to pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that might be further expandable.
OS: The POCO F5 will likely boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.
Battery: The phone could pack a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Camera: POCO F5 is expected to pack triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The report says there could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies
