POCO F6 India launch seems imminent as the handset has received the BIS certification, as exclusively spotted by 91mobiles. This reveals the model number 24069PC21I, the ‘I’ at the end is associated with the Indian variant. There are speculations that it will be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which is believed to debut in China this month but no official confirmation yet. Separately, the POCO F6 Pro model has received the TDRA certification in the UAE.

POCO F6 receives BIS certification

  • As said, the POCO F6 has the model number 24069PC21I.
  • Unfortunately, the BIS certification doesn’t reveal any hardware specifications of the phone at the moment.

  • POCO F6 aka Redmi Note 13 Turbo for China is expected to be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
  • There have been multiple leaks in recent times, which tipped key hardware specifications.

POCO F6 is reportedly under testing in India and the company might launch the phone in the country in May/June after the global debut. The IMEI database revealed the same 24069PC21I model number. 

Meanwhile, the POCO F6 Pro model has been spotted on the TDRA website, suggesting this phone could be released in the UAE soon. Not much is known about the POCO F6 Pro at the moment.

POCO F6 specifications (expected)

  • Display: The POCO F6 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout and flat edges. 
  • Processor: The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
  • Cameras: The camera details of the POCO F6 were recently spotted on the Mi Code. It is expected to come with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor, and an OmniVision OV20B40 camera. 
  • While the battery details are under wraps, there could be 120W fast charging support.

Reports have it the POCO F6 could be priced at around Rs 40,000 in India. We should learn more details in the days to come.
