The next flagship launch from POCO could be the POCO F6. The handset is expected to arrive with the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and could be the first in the global markets. Now, ahead of the expected launch, new details of the handset have surfaced online.

POCO F6 hardware details revealed

  • A new report from AndroidHeadlines citing Mi code reveals the camera details of the phone. 
  • The report says the POCO F6 would feature the 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera.
  • This is the same camera used on the Realme 12 Pro and iQOO Z9 5G.
  • The main sensor will be paired with an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor, and an OmniVision OV20B40 camera. 
  • The report further mentions the phone would come with SM8635, which is the newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
  • There are speculations the handset could be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which is already confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
  • The phone is said to use OLED panels from Chinese display markets, such as TCLD and Tianma. 

POCO F6 testing in India has already begun and the company might launch the phone in the country in May/June, after its global debut. The IMEI database reveals the model numbers 24069PC21I and 24069PC21G, corresponding to its Indian and global variants.

The handset is expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and flat edges. There could be 120W fast charging support as well. Reports suggest the POCO F6 could be priced under Rs 40,000 in India but there are chances the brand might surprise us with its usual aggressive pricing. We should know more details closer to launch.
