After teasing it for a brief period of time, POCO has officially confirmed the Indian launch of its POCO M4 Pro 5G. The brand will unveil its mid-range 5G handset in the country on February 15th. The device will sell in India via Flipkart. The landing page for the POCO M4 Pro 5G has already been made live on the e-commerce platforms, which not only confirms its launch date, but also confirms that (at least) the Blue colour variant of the POCO M4 Pro 5G is making its way to India. POCO M4 Pro 5G India launch date officially confirmed

As seen in the poster above, POCO will unveil its POCO M4 Pro 5G in India on February 15th. This falls in line with our previous exclusive and finally, the brand’s first Indian launch of 2022 is about to happen.

POCO M4 Pro 5G price in India (expected)

Though not officially confirmed, we can expect the POCO M4 Pro 5G to launch in India in a 4GB/64GB memory variant and a 6GB/128GB memory variant. While the former could be priced at around Rs 15,000, the latter could cost a bit more and could be priced at around Rs 17,000.

POCO M4 Pro 5G specifications

Starting with the display of the device, the POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Owing to the IPS LCD panel, the POCO M4 Pro 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the POCO M4 Pro 5G comes powered with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard memory. In terms of software, the POCO M4 Pro 5G boots Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

Coming to the cameras of the device, the POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. At the front, the device has a 16MP selfie shooter. The device comes with stereo speakers support and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, the POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
