PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite will stop working in India from October 30th as Tencent Games will terminate all service and access for users in India.

The post added that the rights to publish PUBG Mobile in India will be returned to PUBG Corp. This was known for some time now as PUBG Corp had issued a statement last month, announcing that it was taking the publishing rights of the game from Tencent and that it was working with authorities in India to bring the game back. However, the PUBG Mobile ban in India is still in place and it looks like this is the final nail in the coffin.
With Tencent Games terminating server access, PUBG Mobile will not work for users who have so far been able to play the game despite the ban. The game will also likely not work with a VPN connection, though we cannot confirm this at the moment. In the post, Tencent Games said, "protecting user data has always been a top priority and we have always complied with applicable data protection laws and regulations in India. All users' gameplay information is processed in a transparent manner as disclosed in our privacy policy."
