  • A new Realme truly wireless earbuds patent shows AirPods Pro-like design
  • These could be the rumoured Realme Buds Air Pro
  • The rubber ear-tips will likely offer some amount of noise cancellation

Realme has filed a patent for a new pair of truly wireless earbuds at the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, as discovered by 91mobiles. Unlike the Realme Buds Air and Buds Air Neo that have Apple AirPods-like design with a sizeable stem, the upcoming Realme earbuds have an in-ear design with rubber ear-tips. There is a microphone on the stem, probably to block environment noise and also for better call reception.

While the patent doesn’t mention the actual moniker of the TWS earbuds, these could be the rumoured Realme Buds Air Pro that are expected to launch soon. The Realme Buds Air Pro could be premium TWS earbuds to take on Apple’s AirPods Pro. The silicone ear-tips could allow for noise cancellation and a better in-ear fit.
Separately, the CNIPA patent also includes another set of TWS earbuds that have a pod-shaped design. These look similar to the recently launched Realme Buds Q and have an angular ear tip for a better fit. These could launch as a budget offering and might adopt some of the features from Realme Buds Q. Unfortunately, it isn’t clear at the moment if Realme is actually planning on launching bringing these designs to life.
