Months after launching the Realme Pad tablet in India, the company now appears to be readying the next generation tablet, which probably will be dubbed the Realme Pad 2. As with the predecessor, the Realme Pad could also be a budget offering. Now, the budget tablet has appeared on the FCC certification website, as spotted by MySmartPrice. This reveals some key details about the upcoming Android tablet and what upgrade will the new version bring.

Realme Pad 2 FCC listing

  • The FCC listing shows the Realme Pad will have the model number RMP2205.
  • The tablet will pack an 8360mAh battery. In comparison, the OG Realme Pad houses a 7100mAh cell.
  • The large battery capacity will be accompanied by 33W fast charging support, which again is an upgrade over the 18W charging speed.
